Fracolizer Sled Weight Plate System

This is a weight plate system designed to work with Tiffen big sleds:  Ultra2, Original Ultra Cine series, Vector, Clipper series sleds.  Any of their full size sleds that have the dovetail bottom.

The weight plate attaches to the bottom dovetail of the sled by sliding on and it has a locking system that allows the weight to be placed fore or aft up to 5.5″  for additional balance support if needed.

This weight plate system was made to allow the operator to balance the sled with a shorter post when desired.  I built and tested a few prototype versions for about 7 months before making this one available to others.  As you can see in the photos, you have 4 weight options.  If the aluminum plate itself is not enough weight, you simply add one of the extra weights by screwing it on the bottom of the aluminum plate.

Approximate weights of the system are as follows:

Main dovetail system- 1 lb
Weight # 1-   .08   lb
Weight # 2- 1.25 lb
Weight # 3- 1.65 lb
